History

In 2009 Peter and Kensy Boulware responded to the Holy Spirit by creating a school with strong Christian values and a focus on the heart of the children.

The Boulware’s visited Harvest Community School in Jacksonville, FL and fell in love with the model, atmosphere, and academic success of the students. They wanted to establish a similar program in Tallahassee that allowed for parent participation and encouraged a God-centered focus both academically and relationally.

The new school would emphasize academic achievement without losing site of bigger-picture goals such as exhibiting love for their neighbor, self-control, and patience. It would work with parents to develop students who could learn and excel in different learning environments and exhibit strong moral character.

The school would offer a scripture-based perspective in a confusing world.

That school would be Community Leadership Academy.
